About Ben

I grew up in rural northern Illinois and enlisted in the U.S. Army at 19. Hoping to travel, the Army didn't disappoint. I attended basic training in South Carolina, a language school in California, and advanced individual training in Texas before the Army sent me to South Korea, where I spent the remainder of my five-year enlistment as a Korean linguist. I was blessed to continue serving in a new capacity after my enlistment came to an end by researching and investigating the Korean War's cold cases at the Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency.

After 12 years of serving those who made the ultimate sacrifice during the Korean War, I needed a change that would allow me to be home for my family. God presented me with the opportunity to help Veterans and non-Veterans become homeowners. My goal is to ensure everyone who entrusts my team and me with their home financing will come away with more than just the keys to their new home but a five-star homebuying experience they'll never forget. It would be my honor to serve as your personal mortgage advisor!

I'm thankful to be supported by my incredible wife, Sasha, three beautiful children - Emerson, Charlize, and Elicia - and my church community.
